Help support refugees this autumn

We’re supporting Walking With a Refugee Charity based in Wallsend, we’re looking for donations to help refugees and asylum seekers arriving from all over the globe who are fleeing war, persecution and violence.  

We have a specific list of donations we’re looking for that can really help support individuals and families moving into the local area. If you are able to donate any of the below please drop off at The Hub or email hub@quorumpark.com to arrange a collection. 

Items were looking for include: 

Bikes. With limited funds, Bikes help refugees and asylum seekers get around. 

Clothing. (Trainers and warm clothes) Walking With have a good supply of second hand clothes already, but are looking for men’s trainers (in good condition!) and warm winter clothes for adults and children. 

Toiletries. Men’s razors, shaving foam, sanitary towels, nappies, shower gel etc, are always in demand

Food. Such as meat, rice, oil, sugar, teabags are always needed.

 We’re collecting donations until Friday 1st October.
Why not arrange an individual collection in your office and we will collect on your behalf.
