The theme for Mental Health Awareness
Week in 2023 is Anxiety.
Anxiety is an important human emotion, but in some circumstances it can get out of hand and become a mental health problem.
A lot of different things can contribute to feelings of anxiety such as exams, a new job, or a big life change. It’s
an emotion people often experience around money and not being able to meet life’s basic needs so the current cost-of-living crisis is starting to have severe effects on the nations mental health.
We are taking part in Wear it green day this Mental Health Awareness Week
to help to raise vital funds and awareness for mental health.
You can come along for a chat and a coffee in the Neon Breakout space from 10am, on Thursday 18th May.
The Hub team will be around to talk about mental health in the workplace or chat about anything you’d like! Our next big event, how the doggos are doing, or what you had for tea last night.
Come along wearing Green to help raise awareness for Mental Health Week. You can also donate by buying a green ribbon badge from Neon reception.
