Best Old Soldier
This is Archie who has just turned the grand old age of 13. He would love to be entered into the best old soldier competition. Given he was the runt of a litter, given hours to live and 4 operations in the first year of his life he really is my little Soldier – Stacey, AA
Best Rescue(s)
This is (from top to bottom) Evie, Rosie, Dolly and Minnie and they are all rescue dogs from the charity 'Many Tears Animal Rescue' in Wales. The three dogs at the top are ex-breeding dogs and lived in terrible conditions, confined to cages and barns until they were rescued, and they now love life running free at the beach and cuddling in together. The puppy, Minnie, was born at Many Tears after her mum was handed over when pregnant with Minnie's litter. She's a Labrador/setter/pointer cross so is much bigger now but still tries to be part of the little dogs' pack. – Sarah, NCFE
Best Dressed
I am nominating sparky the retired greyhound. He was a very shy and nervous dog when we first got him, having lived in racing kennels all of his life. Within weeks he settled in perfectly to his forever home, his confidence grew and continues to grow, and his personality has shines everyday. He is the funniest dog and makes me smile every day. His confidence has grown so much he has even began modelling dog coats and fleeces! He has really lit up my life and I wouldn’t change him for the world. – Lauren, Insure the Box

This is Axel. We see Axel regularly running around the Neon building and saying hello and giving kisses to all the staff in the building. Thanks Axel! Axel is soon to be a big brother and so far he’s already been full of important responsibilities! So we couldn’t think of a better ‘Best Dog’

Barney is a 2 year old German Shepherd. He is my hero as hes been my rock as my parter is always deployed away with the army, as Barny makes me feel safe at home and love a good cuddle. – Rebekka, Verisure
