A Great Turn Out for the Quorum Jobs Fair - Quorum Park

Over 1200 guests visited our onsite Jobs Fair in partnership with North Tyneside Council and sponsored by Engie. 

The event took place in the Q12 Building on Thursday 3rd May 10.00-3.00 with 40 locally based recruiters advertising over a 1000 upcoming roles. 

 There were roles within IT, finance, sales, customer service and the public sector – from entry-level posts to senior positions as well as apprenticeship, graduate and training opportunities.

The event was sponsored by onsite tenants Engie who were delighted with the turn out. Dave Hughes, Shared Service Director said ‘We’ve had some great conversations today and are hoping to fill a lot of roles. We were really impressed with the calibre of people walking through the door!’ 

Alongside Engie other Quorum tenants exhibiting at the event included Convergys, NCFE, Swiftpage, Tesco Bank, Rosen and Sitel plus many more. External companies advertising roles on the day included BT, Virgin Money and Sky.

Fergus Trim, of Broadoak, asset managers at Quorum, said: “We have seen strong employment growth at Quorum, with a number of occupiers expanding and taking more space. It is great news that new roles are being created and that we have the talent pool available locally to meet the needs of these growing businesses.’

Quorum is home to over 30 businesses, who between them employ over 6,000 staff.

Another attraction for job seekers is the on site amenities and benefits at Quorum. Onsite facilities include the Kids 1st Nursery, Pure Gym, Greggs and the Eat@cafe, alongside free to use sporting facilities such as tennis courts, a seven-a-side football pitch and table tennis tables.
