Connect Health become the first Quorum Tenants to successfully apply for our Green League Sustainability Award.

Winners of the award receive a trophy and a full feedback report with advice and recommendations for further sustainable improvements they can make in their workplace. 

Connect Health have successfully achieve Silver Status after implementing a number of Sustainable solutions including a Power Save mode on all PCs,  Cycle to Work Scheme, Paper policies and a scheme to allow staff to take boxes and packaging from onsite deliveries home to be reused.

‘As part of our continuing efforts to improve sustainability we are delighted to achieve the Silver Level of the Sustainability Awards. Sustainability is an important topic on many lips at the moment and Connect are keen to look inwards at how we can make an impact by changing our processes to reduce the amount of Carbon Reduction, encourage staff to consider the environment and ecology in the area and promote sustainable transport.

The amenities and support at Quorum are invaluable to helping us achieve this and we promote features such as the Personal Travel Planner on the Quorum website, Smoke-Free Maps and the Wildlife Group who make birdboxes, feeders and other designs to maintain the ecology in the local area.

We look forward to planning the year ahead now and working towards Gold Standard. For us, Silver is great – but there is always room for improvement!’
