Greggs Delivered, the much-anticipated, new delivery service from the popular food-on-the-go retailer, is being trialled at Quorum Business Park from Monday 6 February.
The new service, which delivers directly to offices and homes for free, offers a range of freshly prepared sandwiches, salads, sweet treats, snacks, cold drinks and savouries. Those looking for lower calorie options can also choose from the Balanced Choice range with tasty alternatives for less than 400 calories.
To order, customers should visit www.greggs.co.uk/delivery and select their location. Orders should be placed before 5pm for next day delivery and must be paid for with credit or debit card. Delivery will then take place the next day between 10am and 12pm.
There is a minimum spend of £20, so the service is ideal for those catering for a meeting, wanting a fresh and tasty team lunch or planning a party.
The service is currently only available within 0.4 miles of the Quorum Business Park shop and selected areas in Newcastle upon Tyne and central London, with further trial locations planned throughout 2017.

About Greggs
Greggs is the UK’s leading bakery food-on-the-go retailer with 1,700 shops nationwide and serving over six million customers a week. In 2016 the retailer opened its first company managed shops in Northern Ireland as part of its expansion plans.
Established for over 75 years, in 2013 the business diversified its growth strategy to transform Greggs from a traditional bakery business into a modern, attractive food-on-the-go retailer, bringing about significant changes to the quality and relevance of its product offer as well as the positioning and refurbishment of its shop estate.
Over the next five years the business will invest substantially to support growth and reshape its own supply chain in order to compete more effectively in the food-on-the-go market. This will see an investment of around £100 million in a major programme to create additional manufacturing centres of excellence and increase capacity to support shop expansion substantially beyond 2,000 outlets in the UK.
Greggs continue to specialise in daily fresh shop-made sandwiches, confectionery and savouries baked off fresh in the shop ovens throughout the day. These are further complemented by growing ranges including freshly ground coffee, breakfast, heat to eat sandwiches and Balanced Choice.
The Balanced Choice range offers a choice of flatbreads, sandwiches, salads, soups, porridge, fruit and drinks, which are all less than 400 calories and meet amber and green on the Food Standards Agency traffic light system for fat, saturated fat, salt and sugar. The range which was launched in 2014 now accounts for 10% of Greggs’ total sales.
Greggs’ multi-award winning, loyalty scheme ‘Greggs Rewards’, is a mobile payment app designed to reward its customers for their loyalty whilst making shopping across its shops more convenient, quicker and easier. The app was the first entirely digital loyalty scheme launched by a UK food-on-the go retailer, eliminating the need for customers to carry a separate loyalty card or their wallet when they shop.
Greggs was also one of the first UK retailers to accept Apple Pay, the new mobile payment and digital wallet service by Apple that lets iPhone 7, 7 Plus, and Apple Watch owners make contactless payments in shop using NFC (near field communication) with their devices.
