Kids 1st at Quorum is Outstanding for a second time - Quorum Park

This week Kids 1st are celebrating after achieving their second successive outstanding Ofsted inspection.

Kids 1st Quorum, our onsite nursery was judged as outstanding in every category and has been given a huge amount of positive feedback from Ofsted. Inspector, Eileen Grimes, was particularly impressed with the assessment of the children’s development, the understanding of children’s interests and abilities, and the excellent partnerships with parents.

Andrea Cain, Nursery Manager at Kids 1st Quorum is thrilled with the nursery’s achievement, she said: “All of my team have worked so hard for this inspection and we are delighted to retain our outstanding! We always aim for excellence within every aspect of childcare and to receive recognition of that is wonderful.”

This outstanding Ofsted report is the sixteenth in eleven years for Kids 1st and currently all ten of the group’s nurseries are outstanding, something quite unique in the private childcare sector.

Allison Winship, Head of Childcare, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Andrea and the team at Kids 1st Quorum for all of their hard work and dedication to the nursery. Achieving an outstanding Ofsted report is extremely difficult, especially twice, and to see how much the skills and expertise of the staff have impressed the inspector really makes me proud.”

At the end of 2014 Kids 1st was named the ‘Highest Quality Childcare Provider in the UK’ by Nursery World for the fourth consecutive year. This year’s top provider will be announced by the industry publication in November.
