They’ve got loads of special events, with something for everyone, from rockpooling to dolphin spotting, walks and talks, creating coastal art and much more.

If you’re looking for things to do during the school holidays, head to Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11am or 1pm for various wildlife activities. This week we’ve been dissecting owl pellets! Just £3 per child, no booking required.
Make sure you save the date for Our Wildlife 2017 on 16 and 17 September, our annual celebration of regional wildlife which is running this year from our fantastic new Wildlife Discovery Centre at Hauxley.
And don’t miss the final Osprey Watch weekends of the season (running Sat, Sun and Mon until mid-August). We’ve launched a special Friends of Kielder Osprey scheme this year to try and raise funds for the project – just £20 donation can help protect these amazing birds for future generations. Supporters receive a specially designed pack including postcards, stickers, fact sheet, certificate, an enamel osprey pin badge and reusable osprey printed cotton shopper.
