People's Kitchen Donations - Quorum Park

A huge thank you to everyone who donated something to our People’s Kitchen food collection.

The People’s Kitchen have been supporting the homeless and disadvantaged in Newcastle since 1985  and serve over  40,000 hot meals a year.

They rely solely on donations from volunteers.

This Autumn Quorum staff donated a fantastic selection of non perishable items. Everything donated will be used by volunteers – either in their kitchen serving hot food or passed to their food bank and in the case of more luxury items used in raffles raising money for the good cause.

Marilyn Champion, a volunteer at The People’s Kitchen was delighted with the items donated. “The items donated will be very much appreciated by the homeless and disadvantaged people who come to us. The items were perfect for cooking in a large scale kitchen, the brief was followed really well.

If you didn’t get the chance to drop off a donation and are still looking at ways to help those in need this festive season, visit www.peopleskitchen.co.uk to find out more about their Donate a Dinner Christmas Appeal.
