Hub team recognized for their efforts to promote health and wellbeing across the business park.
Staff from Quorum’s hub team attended the Better Health at Work presentation on Friday 19th February at St James Park. They were joined on their table by staff from Tesco bank who had been awarded a Silver Award.
The North East Better Health at Work Award recognizes the efforts of local employers in addressing health issues within the workplace. Having encouraged on site tenants to apply for the award for a number of years, the hub team decided to apply for the award themselves and were able to document a number of park wide campaigns that received high praise from the award assessors.
The 2015 campaigns included an onsite carers event designed to alleviate the mental stresses of any onsite carers, a creation and promotion of a triathlon club designed to promote physical exercise and a Movember Men’s Health event – designed to encourage men to talk more about their health and wellbeing.
Events Manager, Laura Barber said ‘here at the hub we are in an excellent postilion to promote Health and Wellbeing across the park, our onsite sports facilities and excellent communication linkds across the park. It was great to see Tesco Bank getting recognized for their Silver Award – we look forward to promoting more campaigns in 2016
