With the ever-increasing popularity of electric vehicles, Quorum has taken the next steps to ensure its business park is ready for the future. There are now two dual Eve 22 Kw fast chargers installed outside of the Neon building allowing 4 vehicles to charge at any one time. These chargers are open to business owners and the general public to use when on site.

The fast chargers installed on Quorum should hopefully encourage more people to purchase or lease electric vehicles or hybrids knowing they can now successful charge at work.
Laura McVittie, Commuter Centre Manager at Quorum said “promoting green travel to the tenants and their employees is a key part of the park’s ethos. Quorum has been a pioneer of electric vehicles with five private electric charge points already located within some of the tenant’s car parks and there is a growing number of electric car owners. We hope the fast publicly available charge points will alleviate range anxiety and further encourage more people to switch to lower emission vehicles. and we launched the charge points with an EV vehicle showcase in February.
The charger installed were launched at an EV showcase event in February, the chargers are connected to the Hubsta Network and Q Cardholders receive a discount. Hubsta is an intelligent network that connects to over 55,000 Charge points worldwide, with the network it’s never been easier to charge your electric vehicle or manage your EV charging using an app!

Anthony Piggott, Technical Director of Elmtronics says: “We have launched Hubsta as an intelligent network to provide our customers a wider level of service, communication, which works for them, managed and owned within the UK. Hubsta allows customers to have full control over their charge point and data, enabling them to control and manage their EV fleet vehicles. Hubsta also allows the customer, the ability to remotely log in and manage each charge point in real time, making the control and audit of their fleet an essential part of their EV infrastructure. We are now working with many customers to switch them over to the Hubsta network and we can only see this increasing over the next few months as more and more customers see the benefit”.
