Quorum Welcomes Northumbria CRC to the lightbox - Quorum Park

Northumbria CRC are the second tenants to take occupation in the Lightbox

The company has taken 5,596 sq ft of the first floor of the Lightbox building at Quorum, on a new 9 year lease. It will bring 65 new staff to Quorum when it takes occupation in January 2016, moving from Lifton House, Jesmond.

Northumbria CRC delivers probation services in local communities, to protect the public and reduce reoffending. It supervises around 4000 adult offenders at any one time. A key part of the criminal justice system, Northumbria CRC works alongside Northumbria Police, HM Prison Service and the National Probation Service to provide safer communities for local people.

Quorum Director Fergus Trim said “We are very happy to welcome Northumbria CRC to Quorum and hope they enjoy all the aspects the park has to offer.”

Nick Hall, Chief Executive of Northumbria CRC, said “We are pleased to move into new, state of the art facilities at Quorum Park. Recent changes to our operating model mean the open plan space will help to integrate various aspects of our operational functions in one location, supporting our staff across Northumberland and Tyne & Wear in delivering local probation services.”

Northumbria CRC is the second occupier to move into the Lightbox since the building was launched in April 2015 joining Connect Physical Health. This letting means that the building is now almost 40% let. The building offers greater flexibility with the four floor building offering a variety of options from 5,000 sq ft upwards to a full floor of 16,000 sq ft.
