The shines for our Table Tennis Tournament, going down a treat with onsite staff!
Our event was originally scheduled to take place on Friday 6th April but was rescheduled after machine failure – this proved a blessing as staff were treated to glorious sunshine on new date, Friday 20th April.
Greek street food vendors, Phi Pie were on hand serving delicious gyros – with Chicken, Pork and Vegan options available.
The aim of the game was to reach the highest score against our Table Tennis Robot, participants had three attempts to take on the automated machine as it release ping pong balls – the general consensus being – it was harder than it looked!
The winning score came in the last fifteen minutes of the tournament, from NCFE’s Paul White who managed an impressive Two Minutes, Twenty Four seconds!
Paul won an instant table tennis kit, a family ticket to Life Science Centre and a Quorum Goody Bag.
The Table Tennis Robot is available to hire from Tyne & Wear Sport’s Active Workplace Programme – order one for your next team building exercise and you can hire our portable table tennis for free!
