Celebrating past, present and future at Quorum Park
Many, many best wishes to everyone at Equans UK and Ireland, whose shared services team threw a party in celebration of their 10th anniversary, an amazing milestone enjoyed by both current and former employees.
Employees past & present from throughout the last decade gathered on the beautifully-decorated first floor of our Neon building after a very special anniversary photo in the foyer, and a cake-cutting ceremony, alongside a buffet meal.
210 individuals are currently based at Quorum Park, where since 2014 they’ve been providing wide-ranging support to help with the smooth running of the wider Equans business – a 15,000-strong organisation providing a comprehensive range of services across facilities management, energy management and construction. At Quorum, this includes the IT and Customer Service Helpdesks, Employee Services, Procure-to-Pay, Invoice-to-Cash, and Accounting Services and Reporting.
Director Andrea Schaffell, who was behind the surprise celebration, ably organised by Employee Engagement Manager Lynne Bowry-Thompson, said: “Our Shared Services function has grown and gone from strength to strength over the years, while remaining focused on providing excellent everyday support in an agile manner that adds value.
“I'm incredibly proud of all the teams and regardless of the amount of automation modern workplaces require, it remains the people who drive the business.”
Equans, a Bouygues group company, is helping businesses, public sector organisations and the government to embrace the transition towards net zero, as well as the digital and industrial transitions that are redesigning the way we move, work and live.
We’re proud that such a global leader in sustainability has been part of our park community for such a significant period, and roll on the next 10 years!
