Engage your senses this autumn (& beyond) at Quorum Park!

We know how many of you value the opportunity to get outside amongst the amazing wildlife we have in and around our fantastic site, and to get moving during your working day. So from September we are introducing new interactive wildlife walks which you can do over lunchtime, and we are very excited!

Our first group walk, taking in a specially created route that employs some carefully placed QR codes that will take you to exclusive content, will be taking place from 12.15 on Tuesday, September 10th.

In addition to stopping at the Quorum Park allotment for some hot drinks and tasty treats, our first walkers will get access via these codes to a variety of tasty recipes on route that make use of the season’s freshest produce, such as this delectable pumpkin soup, as well as information and guides about our park facilities and wild residents, along with inspiration to help them walk on the wild side more often.

The idea is the brainchild of our Sustainability and Community Director Laura McGrath, who said: “It is well known how beneficial it is for our wellbeing to connect with nature, and it’s something we love to support people to do as often as possible at Quorum Park.

“As well as regular group walks, with these QR codes, which members of our community will soon find dotted throughout our site, they can find inspirational content on their own wander through the grounds, such as a cut flower guide, fantastic meal ideas, and information about how to set about rewilding at home.

“Our aim is to help people enjoy all the amazing sights, sounds, scents, textures and even tastes that are all around them. And we hope this will motivate more members of our park community to get together, get outside, get moving, and engage with nature, both at work and where they live.”

A custom made, illustrated map of the site that details the key information points created will soon be available to download from the Quorum Park app. And for the walk on 10th, everyone will meet at the Hub. See you there at [insert time]!
